This year’s Stanley Ballard Senior Christmas Parade will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 10 a.m. We would like to encourage schools, churches and businesses to participate in this year’s parade. This year’s parade theme is “A Gingerbread Christmas” and the grand marshals will be the family of Charles Gann and Don Ledbetter.
The parade route begins on Moore Ave./U.S. Hwy 80 at Ninth Street and continues down Moore until it ends at Adelaide Street. Parade entry forms can be found and completed on the Terrell Chamber of Commerce website, www.terrelltexas.com/christmas-parade. The online form and payment must be received and paid in full by Dec. 6, 2022. Entry fee is $10 for Chamber members and $25 for non-members. To apply, please fill out the online application.
Two trophies will be awarded before the parade: one for ‘best of theme’ and another to ‘best overall’ float.
Immediately following the parade, downtown Terrell will be full of activities for children and shopping for the adults. A certain visitor from the North Pole will be making an appearance as well. Do not miss the Holly Jolly Downtown Party immediately following the parade. Holly Jolly will be held at the lot at Rockwall Street and Moore Ave.
Call the Chamber at 972-524-5703 for additional information.
